Foaming Bath Base

This is an easy to follow formulation and creates a base product that can be changed into many beautiful products
BASIC FOAMING BATH WHIP BASE

PHASE A
GLYCERIN 400G
SCI 340G
COCA BETAINE 220G

PHASE B
PROPYLENE GLYCOL 200G
STEARIC ACID 55G
WATER 85G

PHASE C
CITRIC ACID (IF NEEDED)
PRESERVATIVE 1% OF WEIGHT – 13g

STEP1
Add glycerin, SCI and Coca betaine to a slowcooker or double boiler. Heat the combined ingredients until melted.

STEP 2
Once the SCI has melted, add Phase B ingredients slowly and continue to blend until all the ingredients have melted and the liquid is clear.

STEP 3
Check the PH. adjust to 7 with a citric acid solution. Start with a small amount and retest.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool to 40 degrees Celsius and add the preservative
(Citric acid solution— Dissolve 2.0 g of Citric Acid Monohydrate in about 10 mL of water, dilute with water to 30 mL, and mix.)

STEP 4
Pour into jars and allow to solidify, or leave in slowcooker to solidify and whip when solid.
Add colorants, oils, sugar, salt, and fragrance if desired

FOR BIGGER BATCHES, SIMPLY DOUBLE OR TRIPLE THE FORMULATION

Foaming bath whip is Soluble in water

Storage: Room temperature in an Airtight container.

If foam whip is hard to scoop, place the entire closed jar into hot water to soften.
Place the desired amount in a bowl. Add 3% fragrance and water-based color or mica as desired.

Whip with a hand mixer for a 3-5 minutes.

Package and label as desired.

Ingredients: Glycerin, SCI, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Stearic acid, Citric Acid, Preservative

Exfoliating Scrub: Add 25-50 % Salt or Sugar.
Use large crystal salt or raw brown sugar.
Over time, fine crystals tend to dissolve in base.
Layered Parfaits: Divide base into two portions and color two different colors.
Layer in a clear jar and package.
Shaving Cream: Whip with a hand mixer. Add color and fragrance.

GLOWING FACIAL SCRUB RECIPE
Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 250ml. Foaming Bath Whip
• 130ml Brown Sugar
  45. Wheat Germ Oil
• 1 Teaspoon(s) Turmeric Powder
• 20ml Lemon Peel Granules
• 20ml Poppy Seeds
• 10drops Lemon EO
• 1.5 ml(s) Preservative – Water Soluble PF

Directions:

Weigh out Foaming Bath Whip and place in a large mixing bowl.
Using a hand or stand mixer, gently whip until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add in Wheat Germ Oil, Turmeric Powder, Poppy Seeds and Lemon Peel Granules and stir to incorporate.
While mixing, start adding Brown Sugar, a little at a time, until completely incorporated into bath whip.
Add in Lemon Essential Oil and preservative and mix on low speed to completely blend in.
Fill jars and apply lids.
Label product accordingly.

Best Ever Vanilla Sugar Scrub
Recipe Ingredients:

• 250ml Foaming Bath Whip
• 150g Clear MP Soap Base
• 500g Sugar – White Granulated Sugar
• 15ml Glycerin – Natural
• 15ml Natural Vanilla extract
• 1 tsp Yellow Mica powder

Directions:
Add cut-up soap to the measuring cup.
Heat soap in microwave in 30-second intervals until fully melted.
Pour soap into the stand mixer bowl.
Add glycerin and mix with stand mixer on low.
Stop the mixer and add Foaming Bath Whip. Mix on low.
Turn speed to high for 1-2 minutes. (Mixture will become creamy and look like marshmallow cream.)
Turn speed to low-medium and slowly add sugar.
Add lemon mica and fragrance oil. When fully blended, stop mixer.
Fill each jar apply lids.
Label product accordingly.

To Use: Massage gently onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
